I’ve been to many conferences, but this one, by far, has had the greatest impact on my life.

And if there’s one takeaway I hope you grasp, it’s this:

It doesn’t matter how long it took you to “get it.” Be grateful that you finally got it.

Whatever the “it” is.

The lesson.
The boundary.
The purpose.
The courage.
The realization.
The decision to stop playing small.
The understanding that you deserve more.
The permission to finally become who you were always meant to be.

We can spend so much time wishing we had figured it out sooner that we forget to celebrate the fact that we figured it out at all.

Your timing is your timing.

So, whatever your “it” is…

Be grateful you got it. And now that you do, don’t go back.

You need to stop negotiating the ones you already know you need.

If you're constantly the one reaching out first, explaining every "no," and rescuing people from problems they keep creating, it's no wonder you're exhausted.

That's not kindness.
That's over functioning.

Living a soft life isn't about avoiding responsibility. It's about refusing to carry responsibilities that were never yours in the first place.

Try these three boundaries:
• Stop reaching out first all the time.
• Stop explaining or defending your "no."
• Stop rescuing people from problems they created and refuse to fix.

Your peace is protected by what you're willing to enforce, not just what you're willing to say.
